Gender pay gap in Belgium 2007-2018

Over the last decade, the gender pay gap decreased in Belgium. In 2018, women were still paid, on average, six percent less by the hour than men. Since 2007, the gender pay gap that women face in the country has decreased by four percent. In other words, although the situation has improved, efforts towards gender equality are still to be made in Belgium.
