Bank account owners in Botswana 2018-2023

As of January 2023, nearly 45 percent of the population aged 15 years and older in Botswana had an account with a financial institution. The share remained stable compared to the previous year. According to the report, men are more likely to hold an account with a financial institution in the country, amounting to 49.4 percent.
