Growth in harvested area of agricultural production in Angola 2018-2019, by type
In the crop year 2018/2019, the harvested area of roots and tubers grew by 2.21 percent in Angola. In contrast, the harvested area of cereal decreased by 2.29 percent. The fall is related to a severe drought in the south of Angola, where the production of millet and sorghum was drastically affected by the lack of rain.
