Share of mobile phone owners APAC 2020, by country and gender
In a survey conducted in 2020, 84 percent of the male respondents aged 18 years and older in Bangladesh stated that they owned a mobile phone, whereas the share of female respondents in Bangladesh that owned a mobile phone was lower. Comparatively, for the same survey 52 percent of the female respondents in Pakistan aged 18 years and older stated that they owned a mobile phone.
