As of June 2022, around 126.6 thousand people were employed in the accommodation and food services sector in Singapore. This sector was greatly affected by the lockdowns imposed during the COVID-19 pandemic, as restaurants and hotels were forced to close. However, the sector has shown signs of recovery once the pandemic/related restrictions were lifted.
