Usage frequency of private e-scooters in Brussels (Belgium) 2019
In 2019, the majority of the electric scooter sharing users did not own a private step or never used one. However, from the ones who did (42 percent out of 1,041 respondents), 11 percent used their private e-scooter five times a week or more.
According to another survey held in Brussels, 60 percent of the people said to use kick scooter sharing instead of going by foot, whereas roughly 16 percent used it as a replacement for public transport.
