Latin America: smart agriculture enterprises 2019, by technology
As of May 2019, there were 278 digital-based smart agricultural businesses in Latin America and the Caribbean (focused on Big Data, precision agriculture or management and services software). Amongst these businesses, remote sensors was the most commonly used technology, chosen by nearly four out of ten enterprises. Meanwhile, geolocation technologies were used by 35 percent of the region's initiatives.
