Import volume of maize in Kenya 2016-2022
In 2022, the import volume of maize in Kenya slightly increased to 793.8 thousand metric tons, up from 486.5 thousand metric tons in the previous year. Maize is a major crop produced in the country and this notwithstanding, Kenya imports the commodity in order to sufficiently supply national demand.
