Egypt was the second most affected in the continent, as the virus made 11,038 victims in the nation, nearly 10.4 percent of the overall deaths in Africa. Morocco accounted for around 8.2 percent of the casualties in the continent, with 8,683 victims. By the same date, Africa recorded more than four million cases of COVID-19.
