Number of books purchased per person at fairs in Ukraine 2018
Book fairs were not a particularly popular location for Ukrainians to purchase books. In the year prior to the survey conducted in fall 2018, more than half of respondents did not purchase any books at such events. Almost 12 percent bought between one and five books at book fairs during the same period.
