In a global survey conducted during the second quarter of 2020, 36.7 percent of respondents stated that they plan to finance their next new business aircraft purchase by means of cash payments. During the 2019 survey the same question revealed over 40 percent of people wishing to cash finance a new business aircraft purchase.
