Share of women sexually harassed during Carnival in Brazil 2020

As of February 2020, nearly half of Brazilian women who celebrated Carnival said they were victims of some type of sexual harassment during the celebrations, according to a survey conducted in the country. Verbal harassment was the most common type of offense, reported by nearly 80 percent of respondents who had been harassed.
