In Colombia, more than nine out of ten women purchased eco-friendly cosmetic products, according to a survey carried out in June 2020. However, price was an important factor in the decision, as more than half of women surveyed reported to buy eco-friendly cosmetics only when they are on sale. Meanwhile, 44 percent of Colombian men reported the same. The survey also found that, overall, women care more about eco-friendly cosmetic items than men - while less than ten percent of women said they did not care about the eco-friendly aspects of cosmetics, the same was true for 35 percent of men surveyed.
