
Predicted impact of COVID-19 on antidepressant prescriptions by scenario Canada 2020
Based on data on the Fort McMurray wildfires, it is predicted the COVID-19 pandemic could increase the number of antidepressant prescriptions up to 2.3 million during the acute event period, and up to almost 2.6 million during the post disaster steady state. This statistic shows the projected number of antidepressant prescriptions during and after the COVID-19 pandemic in Canada, for three scenarios, as estimated in August 2020.
