Monthly average prices for green beans in Egypt 2019-2023
As of May 2023, the monthly average price for green beans in Egypt amounted to 18.13 Egyptian pounds (0.59 U.S. dollars) per kilogram, a decrease of 13.58 percent from the previous month. Moreover, during the period under review, the mean price fluctuated drastically, ranging from 8.42 Egyptian pounds (0.27 U.S. dollars) per kilogram in January 2021 and 25.99 Egyptian pounds (0.84 U.S. dollars) per kilogram in September 2019. The green beans' market was more stable in terms of mean prices in 2020, comparing to the same period in 2019. Egypt is one of the ten largest exporters of green beans in the world.
