Number of enterprises engaged in B2C e-commerce only in Japan 2020, by industry
In a survey conducted in 2020, over 31 thousand enterprises of the wholesale and retail trade industry in Japan active in e-commerce were engaged in business-to-consumer (B2C) e-commerce exclusively. Among the over one million companies engaging in electronic commerce, around 59.4 thousand were active only in B2C commerce.
