Wind power LCOE in Latin America and the Caribbean 2010 & 2021, by sub-region
In 2021, the levelized cost of electricity (LCOE) of wind power plants in Brazil amounted to 0.02 U.S. dollars per kilowatt-hour, a drop of nearly 82 percent in comparison to 2010. Meanwhile, the rest of South America reported a LCOE of approximately 0.05 U.S. dollars per kilowatt-hour in 2021, down from 0.11 U.S. dollars per kilowatt-hour in 2010.
