Share of e-commerce companies that would become a marketplace 2021
An October 2020 survey of e-commerce decision makers in North America and Europe found that only 12 percent of e-commerce businesses were planning to turn into a multi-vendor marketplace in 2021. The majority of survey respondents revealed their companies had no such intentions. A total of 23 percent of the businesses were already online marketplaces.
