
Brazil: residential LPG prices 2014-2019
An important energy source for many Latin American countries, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) is frequently used in households in the region for cooking and heating. In Brazil, the average price of LPG for the residential sector saw a continual increase between 2015 and 2017, with an overall growth of 45.6 percent in the period. In 2018, the average price dropped slightly in comparison to a year earlier, adding up to around 1.33 U.S. dollars per kilogram.
