According to a survey on expectations of a new prime minister in Japan, around two-thirds of the surveyed German companies based in Japan answered that the one year until the next general elections in 2021 is too brief to make any important changes.
Most German companies in Japan did not expect the change of Japan's leadership to have a significant impact on their businesses.
