Coal mine production in Chile 2010-2021
Chile's coal mine production plummeted in 2021, reaching roughly 18.5 thousand metric tons. This was a decrease of over 90 percent when compared to the previous year. In 2014, Chile's coal mine production reached the peak of the decade, surpassing four million metric tons. Since then, the Andean country's output of this fossil mineral has been annually decreasing.
