Leading security concerns of using e-wallets in Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan 2019
According to a survey conducted in May 2019 among Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Macao respondents, around 29 percent of the participants considered viruses infecting the phone a threat when using mobile payments. Meanwhile, approximately 46 percent of the respondents were concerned that someone could hack their phones.
