Norway: primary school marks by immigration type 2023

Native Norwegian primary school pupils have higher grades than school children with different immigrant backgrounds. As of 2023, native Norwegian pupils scored 43 points, followed by Norwegian-born pupils with immigrant parents with 41 points. For immigrant children, the marks were slightly lower, amounting to 38.7 points. The Norwegian primary school grade system ranges from ten points to a maximum of 60 points.
