Most popular domestic travel regions in the past year in Canada 2019
Domestic tourism is when a traveler chooses to take a trip within their own nation. With 10 provinces and three territories, Canadians have a variety of regions and geographical landscapes to choose from when traveling domestically. During a December 2019 survey, almost 17.3 percent of Canadian travelers stated they had visited the province of Ontario in the past 12 months, making it the most visited province or territory in Canada.
