Outbound travel spending of Mexican tourists 2010-2021, by purpose
Mexican business tourists traveling abroad spent around 950 million U.S. dollars during their trips in 2021, excluding transportation expenses. That same year, the travel expenditure of international tourists traveling for personal purposes amounted to some 4.2 billion U.S. dollars. In both cases, travel expenditures grew when compared to the previous year.
