Start-up founders in West Africa 2010-2019, by institution of first degree
The three most frequent universities for postgraduate studies attended by start-up founders in West Africa are located in Nigeria. Between 2010 and 2019, the Obafemi Awolowo University, where 12 creators achieved their first degree, was the most common institution among start-up founders in the Western region of the continent. Covenant University and the University of Lagos, both situated in Southwest Nigeria, ranked second and third, respectively.
