After the COVID-19 crisis, many Italians claimed that they wanted the world to change to become more sustainable and equitable rather than returning to how it was before the COVID-19 crisis. Indeed, 47 percent and 39 percent of respondents agreed with this statement, according to a survey from September 2020.
