Rajasthan accounted for the region with the highest share of local language TV viewership in India in 2018. At 92 percent, viewers consumed content in Hindi. A majority of this came from the general entertainment genre. In contrast, Gujarati was the least consumed in terms of local language content on TV in Gujarat, Diu & Daman, and Dadra & Nagar Haveli.
