Biologic drug sales value in Brazil 2015-2018
The sales value of biologic drugs in Brazil has shown an increasing trend in recent years. While in 2015 sales in the South American country attained 8.38 billion Brazilian reals, that value increased by approximately nine billion reals by 2018. That year, the market value of the Brazilian pharmaceutical industry was estimated at nearly 24 billion U.S. dollars.
