The number of businesses in the arts, entertainment, and recreation industry in the United States increased by roughly seven percent in 2022 over the previous year. Overall, approximately 1.34 million companies were operating in that market in 2022. As forecast, this figure was expected to rise to 1.39 million in 2023.
