Share of self-reported crime victims in Sweden 2019, by gender and type of crime

How many Swedes were crime victims in 2019? Sexual abuse was the most common crime against Swedish females that year. In detail, 9.4 percent of the female population reported this type of crime, compared to only 1.4 percent of the Swedish males. Among Swedish males, threat was the most commonly reported crime, with a share of 9.5 percent.
