Distribution of SMEs in Hungary 2019, by international export market
As of 2019, over 70 percent of Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises operated exclusively on the domestic market. Another 23 percent of enterprises exported their goods or services to other EU countries, while only five percent had other European countries outside the EU as trading partners.
