Weekend box office revenues pre and post-lockdown in the UK 2020
Post-lockdown, weekend box office revenues in the United Kingdom (UK) have been slowly rising. Figures are however still far from being close to what they were pre-lockdown, with the first weekend of September 2020 generating 3.3 million British pounds in comparison to the same weekend a year before which generated 13.3 million. The most lucrative weekend for the British box office post-lockdown was 28th to 30th August. Here, 4.5 million British pounds was made.
