Brazil: post-COVID-19 consumer choices of sustainable shoes 2020
Over half of Brazilians were planning on paying more attention to sustainable footwear brands and products when the COVID-19 pandemic is over, according to a survey conducted in the country. Nearly one fourth of respondents reported that shoe brands and products with social purposes will be more valuable to them. Meanwhile, around two out of ten Brazilians surveyed did not think that they will change footwear consumption preferences after the pandemic. The willingness to pay more for sustainable products in Brazil is highly related to the salary, according to a 2019 survey.
