A study from June 2020 that considered consumer opinion on what actions should be taken by brands to respond to the racial justice movement in the United States, found that 35 percent of respondents completely agreed that brands should make a statement against racism. On the other hand, 17 percent of respondents expected brands to allow their employees time off to respond to such events.
