According to a survey carried out in Panama, 40 percent of respondents spent less money on food and beverage, whereas 22 percent spent more in May 2020. In regard to cleaning supplies, only 19 percent of respondents expressed spending less money on these type of products.
In non-essential products, over 90 percent of respondents, the vast majority, claimed to spent less in alcohol, clothing, electronic devices and perfumes and cosmetics.
