Between 2016 and 2020, the annual revenue of the magazine industry in Mexico declined by nearly 42 percent, standing below 1.9 billion Mexican pesos in the latter year. Similarly, the number of people working for magazine publishing houses in Mexico decreased by over 40 percent in the same period.
