Hong Kong: breastfeeding rate on discharge 1992-2019

In Hong Kong, the breastfeeding rate of newborns on discharge from hospitals stood at 87.2 percent in 2019, representing an overall increase over the past years. A higher proportion of pregnant women in private hospitals were informed about the advantages of breastfeeding and received the support from medical staff.
