Colombia: growth of health items online sales due to COVID-19

From February 24 to May 3, 2020, amidst the COVID-19 outbreak, online searches of surgical masks on the online marketplace Mercado Libre increased by almost 4.7 thousand percent in Colombia, compared with the same period a year earlier. Meanwhile, medical equipment searches increased by 142 percent during the same period.
