Volume of fertilizer imports to the EU by nutrient 2020
The European Union imported 3.6 million metric tons of fertilizers containing nitrogen in 2020. Accordingly, nitrogen fertilizers accounted for the largest proportion of EU fertilizer imports that year, while imports potash and phosphate fertilizers amounted to some 1.8 million metric tons and 2.4 million metric tons respectively.
