In the first half of 2020, almost 69.6 million malware attacks were registered in Brazil. This number represents however a decrease of about 56 percent in comparison to the same period the previous year, when over 158 million attacks were registered. In 2020, Brazil was the country with most cyber attacks in Latin America.
