In 2021, a keyword analysis looked at the most searched products for Black Friday in France, which took place on November 26th. According to results, gaming consoles were the most popular product among French consumers, accumulating approximately 140,000 queries. It was followed by phones and home appliances, with 100,000 and 55,000 searches, respectively.

The analysis is based on a sample of 50,000 keywords collected from different tools: Ranxplorer, Semrush, SmartKeyword, and Google Search Console.

Research volumes are adjusted for the period between October 8 and December 12. This is due to the analysis of Google Search Console and Google Trends data which show that it is during this period that the vast majority of queries are carried out.

Data for 2020 corresponds to queries made from November 27 to December 7 (hence a higher volume compared to data for 2021 which corresponds to the week of November 22).
