Hydrogen market revenue projection in the U.S. 2050, by value chain
Within the U.S. hydrogen market, manufacturing of specialized materials and components is the sector forecasted to generate the highest revenue in 2050, at a total of 285 billion U.S. dollars. Ranking second, hydrogen production, distribution, infrastructure, and retail is projected to generate a further 245 billion U.S. dollars. Combined, these two sectors would be responsible for some 70 percent of the total hydrogen market revenue that year. Additionally, hydrogen market is expected to offer 3.4 million job postings by 2050.
