Percentage of schools with electricity by ownership status in Tanzania 2018
Almost half of the schools in Tanzania had electricity as of 2018. Schools owned by non-government institutions were significantly more likely to be connected to electricity, with roughly 95.3 percent. By contrast, only 43 percent of government-owned schools had electricity.
