Recent challenges that export businesses have experienced in UK May 2021
Five months after the United Kingdom left the European single market, half of businesses who exported in from the UK had not experienced any recent challenges with exporting, with almost 38 percent reporting that they have had to deal with additional paperwork. Other common problems include, changes in transportation costs, custom duties and levies, while 8.6 percent of businesses had to deal with disruption at UK borders.
