Percentage of schools with electricity by educational level in Tanzania 2018
Eight out of 10 secondary schools (81.6 percent) in Tanzania were connected to electricity in 2018. At primary schools, the access to electric lightning was much lower, at 35.6 percent. Overall, almost half of the schools in Tanzania had electricity in the same year.
