In 2018, out of one thousand adults, 40.9 obtained a loan from a commercial bank in Ghana. The value decreased from 2017, when the number of borrowers was at 48.4 per 1,000 adults. Furthermore, within the period of 2006 and 2018, the prevalence of borrowers in the country increased gradually.
