In a 2019 study conducted among companies across Latin America, 89 percent of security professionals surveyed in Colombia stated that the company they worked for had installed antiviruses as cybersecurity measure, while 79 percent said they had implemented firewalls. In Brazil, the country in the region most targeted by cyber attacks, approximately 84.5 percent of companies had put firewalls in place to prevent these incidents.
