According to a survey conducted in Japan in 2019, 18 percent of the respondents aged 45 to 54 years old would pay extra for care and nursing service provided by 5G networks. The establishment of 5G networks is considered a high priority for the country's plans of a smart society. Therefore, Japanese mobile carriers like NTT Docomo, SoftBank and Rakuten Mobile worked on building out their 5G networks.
