Growth rate of services imports in Africa 2019, by region
Services imports in Western Africa grew by nearly 20 percent in 2019. It was the highest annual growth rate registered on the continent. In Northern Africa, services imported increased by roughly three percent, while in Eastern, Central, and Southern Africa, services imports shrunk from 2018 to 2019. In this year, services imports in Africa amounted to about 182.1 billion U.S. dollars.
